Twin Cities: Crafty Places

I went to another fabric/quilt shop recently and had to add it here.  It's Quilters Courtyard in Saint Paul and I love it!  It has a good mix of modern and traditional fabrics, books and patterns, and lots of other stuff for me to drool over.

Yes, that's the one, over by Lunds.  Whenever I stop at Lunds for Tofutti and weird vegan chips I have to stop at the fabric store.

Yeah, it's awesome. I always find myself in Patina,too. That's a dangerous area!

I haven't been to Patina yet but I've been told that I'd like it.  What kind of stuff do they have?

It's a mix of jewelry, house-y stuff, gift-y stuff, candles, girly things and funny kitsch. It's just like Bibelot, if you've been there?

Has anyone taken any knitting classes at any of the local yarn shops?  I think this fall/winter I really want to learn how to knit more than just a swatch.  I'm thinking about the beginner classes at The Yarnery but I'd appreciate any advice!

I haven't, but I want to, too. I was thinking about Borealis in St Paul, possibly.

Yeah, I was thinking about Borealis too, both stores are pretty close and easy to get to.
