the sides actualy arn't fabric (there is fabric underneath though) the star maps are actualy just printed off the internet onto some paper and i used packing tape on the back to re-enforce the paper. i had some worries in the begining about using paper in this way but it's not really a structural element of the purse and i've been using this purse (the buyer fell through) regularly since i made it and honestly there isn't any visible wear on the paper at all!
