I started making Eunny Jang's beautiful print o' the wave stole and got about a quarter of the way through before remembering that I don't wear shawl-type things! So I decided to use the pattern for pillow panels for a christmas present for my mom.

They're in mohair, I think, backed and edged with pale green raw silk, with zippers so you can take the pillows out (and which I messed up only a little on). They're about 12 inches by 16 inches. Yay for being done with christmas presents!

Oh my gosh, these are **AMAZING** - what an awesome way to use the pattern!!  Do you mind if I gank the picture for a gallery of reader knits on my site?  Full credit goes to you, of course, with a link to your blog (or craftster profile, or LJ, as you like)

*blush* Thanks Eunny! I'd be honored if you'd post a pic on your site--I was thinking of submitting it, but didn't know if it was too different from your pattern to count.
