 I don't want to sound rude, but you asked for some criticism so here goes. Honestly they seem a little, 'myspacey'. They don't exactly seem 'you'. I only say that becuase you said they were specifically self portraits for photography class.

 That said, I do like the third picture. The angle is very different, but works well with the lighting and pose.
 I am not a professional photography, so this is just simple advice  Smiley
