i would post a tutorial, but you should really just buy the book.  i am getting it for christmas, so for this bag, i just sort of improvised.  i cut out the pages of the book and made a bag that would fit inside.  then i just hot glued the ribbon on the outside and the bag inside.  it was pretty easy, im not sure if the book has those same directions, but they are probably pretty close to that.

Cheesy Ahahaha.  That's so cute.  I don't particularly enjoy Econ., so I suppose I would have had a lot of fun gutting that book out. (Mwahhaha)

 Grin  Nice work!

I, Shout, along with fellow artist, Howl, make 5x4" cardstock booklets with our artwork on them, and leave them in random places for people to find.  The goal: to inspire and provoke thought

Have you seen any of our cards?

YAY book purses - BOO economics class

Book purses are so much fun to make and carry! Which reminds me - I need to finish one I've started from a biology book.

Great job!

Ok...I'm inspired now!
I love the idea of an old textbook for the purse!
I'll have to look up a 'how-to.'
Thanks for posting the pictures!

Love the lining fabric, it's very pretty and a nice contrast to the utilitarian book cover...  :-D

I love book purses.  I made one out of an old Reader's Digest Condensed Books book.  We have a million of those in our basement.

Looks good! You can sell it if your teacher doesn't give any extra credit point.
