This is a great bag.  I like the size of it.  The colors are one of my favorite combinations.  Way to go!

Shrinky dinks for labels-- that's brilliant! I'm a camp counselor, and we make them with the kids, but they're usually keychains or something along those lines.

Your bag looks beautiful. I'm currently making a messenger bag for a Christmas gift, and, seeing as it's my first real sewing project and I'm creating my own pattern, I'm sort of winging it. I hope it turns out half as nice as yours. Well done!

I love your bag.  The fabric combo is great.

By the way, what kind of snap did you use, and where did you buy it?  I have been making bags as Christmas gifts, and haven't been able to find a closure that I like.

It's a magnetic snap and I can only find them at ONE Walmart in my area. I have yet to find them at any fabric store around here. Sad BUT, you can find them online extremely easy. I like them MUCH better than the normal snaps.  For me, they are easier to install and easier to use.

There is a guy on Ebay that sells them for fairly inexpensive... Ah Kwok supplies.

Thanks for the information about the snaps!  I will definitely look for them for my next project.
