So I wanted a new dress. This baby looked awesome in my head and it took me two weeks to finish. It prolly owuld have only taken me a day if it hadn't made me throw so many tantrums.

I still need to fix up the darts at the front to make it more fitting. The body of it comes down to my low waist, then there's a wide dropped waistband and a pleated skirt. It's got cap sleeve and a hood Smiley

I was thinking of embroidering something on the left lapel front but I'm not sure whether I should add colour to it. What dya think?

There's more pics on my gang's craft blog http://craftyourtitsoff.blogspot.com/2006/12/i-cant-read-all-japanese.html

((we're working on a new name lol))

I like this dress, very nice! A embroidery would be nice, why not a black on black embroidery I think that would look really nice but colors isn't bad either.

lol, but then you wouldn't see it?
Thanks kids!

The 'scenery' is a bathtub in our backyard that was too heavy for me to flip over... or the photos would have been taken inside it Smiley And it's behind the shed too lol.

I LOVE the hood!  Grin
What type of fabric is it?

I really like your dress.  I think it's great just as it is. You can play with color on the accessories you wear it with.
