After Frank turned out so good I was motivated to get the other Christmas gift shirt done as soon as possible.

This time I used white paint on a black shirt, the words are freehanded.

The black of the shirt shines through at some points and some edges are a bit wonky, but I think that represents Donnie's .. let's call it disturbed ... personality in the movie just perfect.

Looks good Wink  I just stencilled some t shirts for the first time and one of mine was white on black but the white is a bit patchy in places.  Did you paint on more than one layer of white to get it looking that good?

That is so rad. You can't even tell that the black shows through you must have been looking at it under a microscope and your image is contrasted so well.

After the first coat of paint was dry I just fixed some places that really shone through. I didn't have the patience to go over all tose edges for a second time with a brush since the stencil was destroyed when I removed it.

And it really looks better in the pic than it does in real life, my cam made it kinda stainless... Cheesy

I really like the style of the text. Very nice stencil...my friend gave me Donnie Darko to watch but I haven't had time yet. He said it was awesome, so now I'm anxious to find time! Smiley
