So my husband was deployed for 16 months and he just came back like 2 months ago and a couple of days ago i started knitting socks for him and he loves them...
They are made with cheap red heart ss cause it was on sale for 2 dollars a skein and it's selfstriping... The pattern i used is starter stockinette from knit socks! by betsy lee mccarthy. I'm so glad he likes em cause they were a lot of work since he's wearing 11 1/2 s which is huge Shocked

they look great!! i love that yarn!!! and its great how the toes are opposite colors, one's yellow and one's blue!! so great that he loves them too!!!

They're really cool.. and the size of his feet really show off the stripey pattern... Sometimes its good to have big feet.lol. Wink
