You might try Maplink.com or RandMcNally.com.  If you're looking for something vintage, eBay probably has something fun.

Barnes and Noble sells maps, buy the travel section.  I know they have international maps (i'm going to Japan in the Spring if everything works out!!)  But they're like 8-10 dollars.  I don't know your budget, so i'm putting that out there.

You could search for decoupage paper with Italy maps, or wrapping paper such as this: http://www.italianpapers.com/product_info.php?products_id=244

Or just leave your book blank until you get there and have access to all the paper you need.... The stationers/ paper shops in Italy are WONDERFUL!!!

You could ask your nearest Italian Tourism and Trade office or consulate for any maps that they have.

I once asked for the tiniest bit of information and got a whole package of brochures sent to me.

If you can wait until you get to Italy, you will have more of a selection and they will be in Italian.  Smiley
