I made this for my grandfather for Christmas...I really hate chain stitch binding..it seems toooo flimsy! But it is quick, and he lives 2000 miles away, and I procrastinate!  Lips sealed

The inside pages are some fancy-schmancy leftover scraps of Arches Text...the brown/orange doublesided mulberry is from Jo-anns scrapbooking section (it's glued to thicker paper and is admittedly pretty neat-o and much easier than gluing two sheets of mulberry paper together) and the plaid is also from Jo-ann's scrapbooking section.  Cheesy The finished book was about 4 inches tall.

I don't have a "tut" for it...I took a bookbinding class in college & just sort of go by memory & how it looks/feels.

oh wow those are gorgeous! i really love it. i must be an old grandfather because well i really like it and i'm sure he will too!
