This was insane. Ive been working on it for about a wek in between classes. It is part of Christmas for my boyfriend- my theme was Stadium Arcadium (I also got him the box set and the vinyl set)

The entire shirt:

UPDATE 12/26/06
He really loved it: "I absolutley loved the sweatshirt. I was in awe that my girlfriend would put out so much time and effort from her heart to make me such an amazing sweatshirt. I love her so much...the crafster world must know this."
-Seth, the boyfriend : )

Anyway, here is a picture of him wearing it:

That looks amazing! Did you stencil all of the letters on individually? I'm really in awe of that - I can't stop scrolling down to look at it. My boyfriend would definitely wear that (we saw RHCP at the Virgin Festival).

Amazing work of art. Good job Smiley

I don't even like RHCP, but I'm in love with the shirt and your ability to create something so.. jaw-dropping Smiley

Thanks for all the amazing comments! I wanted to see them when they came to philly but tickets were outrageous! I stenciled everything as a separate layers- so the letters were one layer, the dark shading was one layer, the light shading was another.... i told you it was intense! For the rings around saturn and the middle letters i watered down white paint. Craziness!
