I'm about to kitchener the toe.  I'm so excited to cast on for the 2nd sock tonight!  I love STR so much that I went back to Purlescence this afternoon to buy a skein of STR in Rooster Rock.

LOL, I did the same thing! I went and bought more sock yarn and am going to make a second pair of Monkeys. The pattern is just too perfect- it's beautiful, it's easy, I love it!

I'm in too!  I've had these socks on my list since the last Knitty came out - so it's great to see that other folks are working on them too. I love the colors y'all are using.  I swatched before the holidays (but didn't cast on) - I will be using a skein of Hipknits cashmere that I bought a while ago.  It's variegated - but the color palette is limited to blues.  I'll post a picture when I have some progress to show.

Anyone still working on these?  I just finished my first sock....just about ready to cast on for the second.  I love the pattern.  I'm using Shaefer Anne yarn, and it's beautiful!  Cheesy

I have some Cascade Fixation lying around.  Do you think that would work well with this pattern?  I LOVE this pattern!  Cookie's the best.

I *finally* finished these:

I couldn't recommend the yarn more: Austerman Step. It has aloe and jojoba oil in it and they feel wonderful on my feet.

Caroline, I love it!  Great job!  Where do you get that yarn?  How hard did you find the pattern and how it fits?

Oh Amarillys those are lovely!  What color Austerman Step is that?  And can I ask where you found it?  The colors are fantastice and the yarn sounds dreamy with the oils... <3
