Can't believe nobody has started this yet!

2 skiens, 130-ish yards total of Kool-aid dyed mill ends, 85% wool/15% mohair. Worsted to bulky weight.

Sorry about the bad desk pictures, weather has been poor and I wanted to post something for once. Wink

angil, those reds are so pretty...a lot more subtle than my own kool-aid dying attempts.  what flavors did you use?

caedara, those are some beautiful yarns.   All of the colors are great, and I love the bits of lace in Memories, and the gold goes really well with the colors in Sunken Treasure.

Nice gourd!  Smiley

I love all the variation in angil's red yarns, and caedara, Sunken Treausre is awesome!  I love the muted grays of the yarn combined with the bling.  So cool.

This is about 6 1/2 ounces of tussah silk:

It became a woven shawl and now looks like this:

Oooo I just love what you guys have done today!  Great colors and combos.

Been a while since I was able to spin- here is my recent work.  The robins egg in the middle is a combo of four koolaid dyes splattered on.  The other two were purchased dyed wool that I had from before I got my wheel and started the mad scientist dying fetish.  Cheesy

The scarf was one I had to remake- I had crocheted it from unspun roving, but it was not long enough so I had to rip it all out (boy was THAT a challenge) and then I spun it up and re-crocheted it last night.

Almost finished with it.

Black cherry, grape and strawberry - two of each, if I remember correctly. Was my first attempt with dyeing but turned out better than expected.

Was fun... even if it the potatoes at Thanksgiving turned out to be a little pink, but I think that was from the batch after with Wilton's dyes, haha.

Lufah, that shawl is amazing!

woodlandsprite, they're already on sale.  We just bought one for my husband (he brews beer and uses it for that) at Target, and the clearance price was $25.  I would guess you'll probably be able to find them through New Year's - if places like Target are sold out, you can always check a Tractor Supply or Rural King or something like that, because they have them a lot of times as well.
