Am finally able to post pics of the ponchos I made for my granddaughter, patterns found somewhere on this list!!
http://www.bilynsworld.com/Taylor%20in%20pink%20poncho%20web.jpg
this was from the "poncho, bag and hat" pattern on the Groovy Crochet website.

this was from www.knitroom.boston .com
I think the first one (pink) is her favorite.  Nothing like a lot of fringe and some swish!

Those turned out great!  It's nice that they're different styles, because she can wear both.  Your granddaughter is very pretty  Smiley

Wow! Such talent!

I really adore the pink one. The girl modeling them looks SO happy to wear them. I would be too!  Grin

Thanks, cool beans, for posting the site,....and yes, you did post the correct site for the pattern I used for the pink poncho.  I used two strands of different yarns (one like a fingering weight, and one a slub type yarn), combined they worked out fine, and I like the variations in the yarn.  I worked the rounds until it was about elbow length, just remember that the weight of the yarn in the finished poncho may make it a little longer, so try it on as you go to get the length you want.
