Here are the GREAT goodies that retro-redux sent me!
First, the whole kit and kaboodle...  

Now, Sigmund... the well-loved sock monkey.  My daughter and husband are still deciding who gets to keep him.

Now, the fab sewing machine cover!  Retro-redux saw it on my WISTS and made me one that fits perfectly!  I ADORE it!!!!

And another close-up shot of the cool button jewelry that I've already worn twice...

Ooooh, I love that monkey! He's huge! I can't believe all of that stuff was made for under ten bucks at the dollar store. That is quite a lot of loot!

Here we go:

Here's the 10 items I bought-I think I ended up not using 2 of them.




Andra is having a baby so I stamped this onesie with what I hoped could be worn for a boy or girl:)



then I took apart these wooden flat bead trivets and used them in this decopaged frame:



Then I covered this hat holder thingie in colors andrea likes-purple with red vintage buttons:



Then I took this oriental print apron and converted it to a sewing machine cover and a kleenex cover:



I must say I'm proud of these -from kiddie butterflies to glitzy butterfly ornaments for Andrea's Christmas in her new home-ps-I hope they weren't too stinky from the gloss varnish:):



A quickie frame and melted crayon muffins for Andrea's daughter:



The jewelry-the there are the MOP button earrings (used what I already owned) but the necklace is MOP button with fishing swivels and the chunky shabby chic  vintage button charm bracelet used the childs tea set-I don't think this is Andreas style but I told her I thought it would be cute as a candle nechlace:)-LOL:







The hardest but the best, in my opinion-LOL: Sigmund the long legged sock monkey made from generic "knock off" sock monkey type socks-my first sock monkey-a bit home-y but I like em that way:):

Thanks for posting the before/after and more pics!  I should tell you that the ornaments are on my tree and they look great!  Oh, and the hook/holder with the buttons is going up on the wall of our guest room/sewing room because it looks fab against the yellow walls  .  The onesie is my first baby outfit for this baby  .  Thanks again!

Wow - great stuff. I think I need to go back to the dollar store and look at things differently. I never would have thought to break up that trivet to decorate a frame or to use the tea set for a braclet!!

Yes, thank you for the before and after pictures! That stuff is amazing... I particularly amazed at the teacup set bracelet... I agree that I wouldn't have thought up something like that in a million years. You rule
