Okay folks.  Finally my own pics of my marvelous book thanks to rackycoo and all of the fine artists in this swap. 
THE BOOK!!




I wish you could all hold it and feel the weight of it and see up close the beautiful papers she used and how well she ripped them and "antiqued" them. Also very cool movie stickers everywhere.  Can you see the neat beads in the spine?  Lovely touch K!

Here is the very bad dog that broke a huge, huge storm window in my old old house.  The window is at least 4 ft by 6 ft.  Luckily she didn't hurt herself too badly.  She and her antics are one reason it took me soo long to post everything.

"Laugh!" by amaryllisrozeSo well done Aroze.  Love the background!


"The Three Stooges" by phizzychick What those three wouldn't do for a laugh!  Love the "film loop" accents on the sides
"George Burns and Gracie Allen" by goatgoddessAww, "G'Night Gracie"!  Did you make those cool stars"
"Marx Bros" by StifflersmomDarling tv and antenna Stiffy!  I like how the "bro's" pop out of the tv.

Here is the adorable little tin Taloola made for me!

My theme was Classic Paris/Eiffel Tower.

Here is the quaint little tin, fashioned to look like a little suitcase!


(It's resting next to the Eiffel tower fabric she sent---it's GREAT!)

1st 6:

-"Paree" from Rackycoo.  I LOVE The mini fleurs and the tag/eyelet combo!  
-"Eiffel" by AmaryllisRoze This has great textured elements...the tower and the clouds.  Very nice, A-Roze!
-"Paris Fashion" by Phizzychick.  A canvas background with tattered edges, and 2 gorgeous vintage buttons, ooh la la!
-"it didnt' really matter where...she just like to go." by Foufigirl.  This is my FIRST card from Foufi, and I LOVE LOVE LOVE the phrase on it.  It is SO me, and very typical of my trip to Paris in 1999.  GREAT card!
-"Look up" by Kaesea.  Very nice and shiny photos of the tower, one of my favorite views.
-"Histoire De Paris" by Taloola.  Cool vintage text and grayscale image...with brads.  Thanks girl!

Next batch of 6:

-"Inspired by Paris" by Gingerquilts.  A fantastic fabric card, with embroidered tower.  Gorgeous!
-"at the Moulin Rouge" by Bobolink.  This card has a 3-d copper brad with a phillips screw-like head, and red paper as the windmill blades, very inventive.  Thanks, Bobo!
-"Sacre Couer" by Bigmouth.  This is my 2nd fave church in the world, so I adore this card!  The background is a real photo from 1994, with a piece of Parisian map at the base.  The card is bordered by gold beads, so cool!
-"Paris" by Stifflersmom.  A leather 'frame' around the tower, with a paris postmarked tag on top.  Very 3-D, very cool!!!
"Travels" by GoatGoddess.  Yarn tags, antiqued verses, and a very 3-D 'glasslike' photo of the tower...what is that thing, GG?  Either way, it rocks!  Thanks!
-"Paris at Night, Wish you were here" by Qazicat.  Inked distressed black background with 2 photos of the city, la tour eiffel and the arc de trioumphe, fashioned to look like a postcard.  Delightful!

So, that is my WONDERFUL set of cards, in a cute little tin.  THANKS AGAIN, everyone!

To answer your question:
"Well here's another fine mess you've gotten me into" by Original Youth Cool technique OY, how'd you do that?

It's a cardboard base, I gessoed in the background.  I just did their sillouettes with ink, a little drawing.  Glad you like it, it was my first attempt at that technique.

Yea, 3 books successfully shipped!  I think a few more of us are due to recieve today!!!

GG, can we see an inside shot of the book?  I'd love to see how Foufi enclosed the cards...unless Foufi has pics!

she used ribbons at the corners but yes I have lot's of pics - the inside cover is very nice too as is the back - it was getting late last night as I was loading them so didn't get them all to photobucket but will post a couple more after work.

OY - lots of embossing powder - that utee stuff.
That tin is outstanding - so very cool - goes so well with all the cards - all of which are wonderful


gingerquilts - what a wonderful book - love all your cards! and yes the stars are polyclay with that powder stuff to put some sparkle on them.   Poor puppy - glad she didn't hurt herself - sure couldn't stay mad at her with those puppy eyes. <g> Sorry about the window though - what a hassel.

Kaesea- what's the inside of your book like?

I received mine last night!! Although I don't have photos yet.
Bigmouth sent me a fabulous hardcover book- in the same technique I also used for this swap  Made with just gorgeous mixed papers that are exactly my style.
I just love the book and all my new cards and she also left lots of spaces in it- which is great cause I have some super great bird cards I can add to it.

Keasea- was your card made with digital images you drew? It's super cool!!
I love all my cards and will thank you all properly when I post them.
