Just a few FO's for you guys to peek at:

The Bourne Supremacy Scarf:
This is currently blocking to be a bit shorter right now, but it really came out great. The photos make it look a bit nubblier than it really is for some reason. Done in 1x1 rib on size 11's using Berroco Medley in the Damariscotta colorway.

And a closeup:

A toddler poncho for my little niece's b-day:
Knit with Plymouth Encore Mega from this pattern.

And finally Knitty's Haiku for the same niece, knit with Berroco Lullaby in the Willy Winky colorway (heh heh heh....I said willy.....heh heh heh) with little bug buttons.

Aahhh!  I'm so glad to see the scarf finished.  It's lovely!  My friend in West Hollywood, who claims that scarves are SO in there because that's all you need in winter, is dying for me to knit her up some super-cool scarves, and, bless her heart, she LOVES my creativity, but she ALSO loves star-watching, and how much would I rock if I made her something like this (in addition to some of my very own lovelies)?

The toddler items are adorable.  Now that I've cut my teeth on a cute little newborn sweater for my friend, I might be up for making my own child something.  I've already made her a poncho, which I quite like, and it's my own design, so I suppose I should get around to showing you guys pics sometime.  (First I have to get her to sit still long enough!)  Something with some shape might be nice.  I'm considering modifying an existing sweater pattern of the right size into a kimono style.  Maybe these cuties will be my inspiration.

(As an aside, my friend LOVED the sweater and hat I knitted her, and they were my third and fourth compelted knitting projects, so I was quite proud of them myself.  Another of her friends is a much more experienced knitter, and her little baby hoodie was far more impressive than my little sweater, but I was amazed at how well-received my things were.  The other knitter gave me SUCH a great compliment:  "This is only your third project?!?  Your seems are BEAUTIFUL!  Baby boy Spivey was born last night via C-Section, and mum looks forward to dressing him up in all his cute new duds!)

Again, Ren, so nice!  As long as you all keep knitting, so will I, so keep it up!
