I like the plaid.  I think your mistake gave you an opportunity to make them unique and add an interesting personal touch.

I like the different fabric.  It looks cooler.  Also, it looks more like you planned it, and less like you shoved in some fabric that doesn't quite line up because you made it screwy.

They look great, though!  I really do like the contrasting plaid.

That's exactly what I was trying to say, but I couldn't quite get there.  Thanks, spacekitty!  Smiley

Thanks for all the responses!!  After reading through them I decided to go with the plaid because the only flannel that I had was the animal pattern, the plaid and a blue one with frogs and ducks (Sorry, no penguins Smiley).  So plaid it is.  I also added some of the plaid to the cuffs and the waist band, so that it looks more integrated.

What do you think?

That looks awesome! I'm glad you went with the plaid and that you added the extra areas of trim..

Good save!

Hi ! I would use different color such as black or some other color in the original fabric! I would also make it roomy for PJ's. hope this helps Thanks, Esther

The cuffs in the plaid really go a long way toward tying it all together. Well done!
