[i really hope this hasn't been mentioned before, i searched for it just to be sure!] 

i LOVE theme parties.  the weirder the theme the better.  so what if we had a challenge for the best theme party?  submissions would be judged on originality of the theme itself and execution of decorations, costumes, food, whatever!  can you imagine a more fun challenge to participate in?

this challenge may not be for now [with so many holiday obligations], but it would be great in, say, january or march... two of the most boring months, as far as i'm concerned!

I love this idea! Everyone could list their featured hor dourve or drink, decorations, invitations! MIght be a lot of pictures though - maybe the mods could post a pic limit in the rules of that challenge so it doesn't drain the bandwidth too bad? Either way it would make a great challenge or craft a long.
