hey!
it has been a VERY long time since i've made any movements around here
so i thought i'd post what i have managed to conjure up over the past few months...
there will be many a picture here kids...

ok.. so this was originally a dress... turned out pretty bad.. i enjoy the straps though!

now technically a re-con... i patched up my jeans as the holes were rather annoying... making the jeans unwearable for a modest mouse such as myself

this one i made from old curtain fabric i bought at a retro fabric shop - its earnt its place in my wardrobe for sure

my most favourite creation ever i think... didnt take too long and satisfied the biggest creative urge - just imagine that button is there.. it fell off

this was the biggest stuff-up of my life! was supposed to be a swishy high waisted skirt thing but i completely went nuts... trying to wing it sometimes doesnt always work - but it turned out ok in the end! i now have a fun top to wear out - fabric came from an op-shop

i enjoy comments you know... Cheesy

I LOVE the pompoms on the first dress! It reminds me of all the 50s cars at Greazefest this year.

*sigh*

awesome

those pieces are soo cuteee! what fabric did you use on the first pic? I also love the bamboo shirt..do you have any totourials for it..?? I just got this fabric from UO and i really wanted to make a shirt out of it (maybe some cuffed shorts too) but the bamboo one you made is almost exactly what i had in mind! If not then dont worry about trying to get the totourial! peace and love.

hey guys! thanks for the comments!
if i get some time soon i'll try knocking together some tutorials - i work at a department store and have one day off in the next two weeks so.. yeh, i dont promise a prompt tute... but ill definately get around to it!
the top fabric is im assuming some sort of polyester blend thing... it feels like a smooth satin kind of fabric... its very light
i hope that helps!

That stuff is AMAZZZZING!!  Shocked I especially LOVE the jeans even though you say technically it isnt a recon... But thats okay. I love the fabric you used to patch them. and haha hey! im a modest mouse too...  Grin

I love the plaid shirt too! It is especially loverly. I know you said you screwed up on the first dress but I'd love to see it!! Its a shame the pictures showed up so small on my computer. And I do love the straps too!!  Grin

Yah I love all the fabric!! I dont like to buy fabric because when i do I never end up using it because i try and save it and then it ends up getting saved for ever and ever and ever all because i payed a few $ for it...  Roll Eyes

And amelia4relia: your making cuffed shorts??! Ahhh id love some cuffed shorts!!  Grin You should make them soon so that then I can make a pair too... Its a long time till summer though.
