absolutely stunning!  i love them!
the red glass and the coral are lovely!

i was going to start incorporating coral into my designs...but then i read an article about how it should be left in the ocean rather than being harvested for jewellery...which makes me mad, because it's so pretty, and i wanted to use it so badly!  especially the big chunky, branchy bits.  i can't bring myself to do it now though.  meh.

Thank you for the compliments!
The gauge of the sterling silver wire is 22 Half Hard for the earwire (I then strenghten it even more with the nylon pliers) and 20 Dead Soft for the celtic knot design.
I love working with sterling silver wire!
Oh, I bought my first amount of wire (the 22 gauge) from Canada, via ebay.

I recomend this seller because the product is great and the shipping is faster that light. Even though I live in Italy.
then I just followed my boyfriend: he creates jewels, sometimes, because he has been apprentice at a jeweller's workshop, and he knows some shops in Rome where they sell silver findings and precious an semi precious stones at a wholesale price to him. I'm lucky. And I'm even more lucky because every anniversary I get somethig unique created by him  Wink That's why we have been together for eight years  Grin

Here's another pair that I made yesterday with some brown pressed glass beads in the shape of coffee beans.

They're so fun to wear! I tried to shape the silver as if it was the smell of coffee Cheesy
