I'm trying to think of something really fun to craft with an image of John Cusack or an image from one of his movies.  A very good friend of mine loves Cusack movies - has seen every one -- and in her eyes, he is THE MAN, and I would like to incorporate this theme into her xmas gift. :-) I had thought of a stencil, but she's not really a t-shirt kind of girl.  Any thoughts?  (Now that Peter Gabriel song will be running through my head alllll night.) She is 31, loves techno music and owns a turntable.  She's very down-to-earth, quirky, silly.  Thank you for any input!

stencil that (classic Cusack image...from 'say anything') onto a bag, and put the present in there?

Sorry it's not real creative...I just love that image.

Yup, bamfknitter is right, that is THE Cusack image, and would be widely known.

Maybe google some facts about him, all his movies, trivia, etc....and decoupage a journal for her, or a box or something?

What would be cool is to make a BIG stencil of his face, and make her a pillow!!! She could snuggle with him!

Good luck!

Thats fantastic! John Cusack is pretty awesome. I think the tote bag idea is a good one as well, but does she have a favorite JC movie? Say Anything does have that classic boombox image that everyone knows, but that might not be her favorite performance, right?

You could also make a wallet covered in pictures of him- just paste them on some newspaper, cover it in contact paper (or laminate them) and sew the pieces together.
