Last year I made a "Basic Cable" hat for my brother's fiance for christmas and I guess it inspired her to learn how to knit. Now she's knitting socks and everything! So, this year I wanted to give her something knitting related cause I'm all about feeding people's addictions  Wink

The bird & branch were "free stitched" on my sewing machine. i just drew out the design with tailors chalk and went to town with my quilting foot. The inside fabrics are both vintage from thrift stores.

all rolled up!

I hope she gets lots of use out of it. I worked for about 5 hours straight on it yesterday!

Comments welcome & appreciated!

Love, love, the bird stitching. I'm sure she'll adore it.
