Did you go today? I had to go home briefly around 2pm, but was back at 4....I ate a piece of cake in your honor  Roll Eyes... so many books, so little time.

I'll be there all day tomorrow but will be with the Texas Library Association District 10 which is also meeting in the NB Civic Center in the morning, as the Crafty Bibliophile, for a program on Altered Books. Bag sale starts at 1pm, all you can stuff in a paper grocery bag for $3.  Shocked Such a deal!

No, I didn't make it :/ I had a long list of errands & a nice lunch with MIL cut into the drive time.
Today I have a bazillion social engagements so I'm afraid I won't get a chance.  I'm bummed, I really love these kinds of sales.

Just moved to San Marcos in July.  My husband goes to ACC.
I would love to learn to knit...i have tried too many times and i just can't get it.

I am a self-taught crafter.   I see something and can usually mimic it.
I need sewing lessons...lol

Anyone out there that wants to get a group together?

Hi there
I go to Tx State and love to craft! I would love to be part of a group and share what I know and learn new stuff! I just started knitting but would love to learn more, I know sewing basics but not much. Get at me people.

How nice to have this thread revived after a year and almost a half!

I'll be watching it from New Braunfels (and if you're interested in the annual Friends of the Library booksale in NB, let me know- it'll be in late Oct... lots of books, records, etc)
