so i'm feeling yucky today and had to call in sick for work.as i  hauled out the heating pad i remembered that i really wanted to make it a fun cover to make me feel less granny by getting it out in the first place. Tongue so i decided that it would take less than half a hour to make it and it might just be the perfect pick-me-up for the day. a fun cover and a quick crafty project. these were scraps that i got at a fabric store that has a 6 pieces for a dollar bin.

next up the hot water bottle Tongue

edit..photobucket is being a pain today. so i hosted it somewhere else. hope it works Smiley

very cute! is it washable? my dad has an old heating pad that's really scuzzy, so making him a washable cover would be a good solution.

thanks Smiley it is made from flannelette so it shoud wash as good as pjs Smiley you should totally make one for your dad. its way nicer than the weird material of the ones they come with. i just left that one inside. and it was super easy. just turned down the edge of two pieces of fabric and then sewed them together on three sides, then put a snap to hold it on.
