So I'm totally in love with those cute Amigurumi dolls & when I was in Japan over the summer, I even picked up a few craft books to get started.  Since I'm a beginner at crochet, i need a lot of practice.  And to get to the point, while I was 'practicing', I had a gift idea for my friend's 2 year old.

(I couldn't help posting his pic b/c he's just too cute!)

Finger puppets!!

and here's me with them...

I was going to add googly eyes & such but thought better of it b/c he might eat them.  Instead I used felt for the features and sewed everything together with embroidery floss.  I know they don't look the best, I'm still learning!  Any helpful suggestions would be appreciated.  : )  They were actually very quick and easy to make.

Side note:  I also made the "made with love" tag. I made a few scarfs & other things for xmas gifts as well & i thought they added a nice touch to each of the gifts. Sometimes, it's the little things....

I love them!  They are perfect for a little boy... just "monstery" enough!

Thanks everyone!  i'm glad you all like them.   : )

I WISH I could read Japanese!  I tried to learn a bit before we went to Japan.  We went over for my friend's wedding.  It was just way to hard for me to pick up.  Just grasping some of the language was hard enough.  The most I know is from this little boy- words like "no" & "one more time".  haha.  Luckilly my friends are back in the states again so his mom can help me with reading the book.  And there are lots of great instructional pictures that help out too!
