I just learned how to do granny squares, so rather than making a really big thing for my first practice project made of them, I decided to make an teeny-tiny one for my kitties.  That way if I screwed it up, at least I wouldn't have wasted too much time.  It turned out pretty okay.  Not very fancy or hip, but I kinda like it.

Here's the front.

. . .  And the back.  I know it's a bit crude, and there are ways to hide the stitching together bit, but I tried this method and liked how it turned out.

Wow I really like the country colors!  Isn't it funny how the cats can't stay off our creations?  lol

There will always be people who say mean words  because you are different, and sometimes their minds cannot be changed. There are many more people who do not judge others based on how they look or where they are from. THOSE are the people whose WORDS truly matter.

Cute mini blanket!
I seem to have the opposite problem with my cat - he *will not* ever step on anything crocheted. He doesn't mind if you drape it over him, but if you have an afghan in your lap he'll just look at you and meow. I keep looking at the cute kitty blankets and sleeping bags, and I wish that I could make him one he'd use!

Isn't it funny how the cats can't stay off our creations?  lol

Lol the first time I made a crocheted blanket (a continous one, not squares) it got only a little bigger than this one. I left it on my bed and when I came back it was GONE! My cat (only a kitten at the time) had gotten hold of it and right or wrong he was NOT going to give it back. I had to tie it off and hand it over. He carried it around in his mouth and slept with it for years.

Aww, what a cute kitty! I made mine a blanket too, but she doesn't seem to like it as much as, say, plastic bags. Cats are so weird  Roll Eyes
