I was casing my local dollar store for inspiration and I found these bendy rulers 2 for a dollar.  So I thought, hmmm, I'm always losing rulers, what if I made them wearable?

So I used some old beads and ribbons and voila! Of course, coordinating earrings are a must. What do you think?

Sweet. I have an orange one of these from way back when. How long were the rulers to begin with? Mine's a standard 12-inch, which would make for a huuuuuge bangle.

These are 12 inches (although no two were exactly the same length)
It's hard to see, but they overlap a few inches.  I thought about cutting them down, but then what would I do if I needed to do some emergency measuring?!

Thanks to everyone for their comments!

What a great idea! I might have to make a couple of these for school. And I love the co-ordinating earrings!
