I was astounded though, on the purple one, I only had a small kiwi-sized scrap from an old scarf, and I still have some leftover.

I made a Maize and Blue one (I'm a total U of M nerd, lol, I hope to go there in the fall) just a little while ago.
I'll edit this post with pics of it when I get them uploaded.

I just knitted myself one today (such a quick knit!) with a crazy handspun yarn.  It turned out two-tone and I love it!  These are so addictive, I think I will make at least a few more...

Here's my Calorimetry:
I cast on 100 st with 7 US (can't find my 8s).  Don't know how many repeats I did of row 5, but it wasn't 15.

Sorry for the icky flash pictures!  Not that light yet here.



To show the size better: 


I used some of my own handspun.  It just striped up like that on its own!  I was so amazed it worked out so well.
