very nice -- it looks soft and cozy!  And I love your signature.  I love Joni Mitchell (she's Canadian, you know... Grin )

KatAutumn...

The Sugar n Cream one will totally work.  I made one out of the Bernat equivalent to that yarn.  It's great for greasy hair days!  However, be prepared to wash and dry it with every wear, because the cotton doesn't spring back at ALL, despite the ribbing.

I did 96 stitches and mine fits snugly at first, but I use the additional "button holes" to tighten it as it stretches out.  Once I'm two or three holes in, it's time to toss it in the washer.
good to know!!! i'm planning on making one out of Red Heart Casual Cot'n. it's a cotton blend but the yarn has almost no stretch. maybe i should just make it a bit tight and let it stretch out.

thanks for the tip!

I love those colors, laceypooh!

This was the first one I made (two others since as gifts), and I keep forgetting to take pictures of it.

It's an alpaca/wool blend but the name escapes me just now.

I knit another one out of some leftover yarn, haven't found any nice selfstriping yarn though Sad On the bright side this one fits me perfectly! I only cast on 100sts and did a few less repeats than the pattern called for.

Ignore my face, I'm just tired! The first photo is the closest to the true colour of the calorimetry, except it's not quite that dark Grin (I need to figure out how to take good photos with my camera!)

Here's my foray into the Calorimetry! Mine's done with Katia's Mexico on US 7s. I cast on 80 stitches, and it fits my 21" head perfectly!

The striping kind of looks like an eye, doesn't it?
