Swap Organizer himself/herself meets these conditions:

- Has completed one swap successfully before signing up for multiple swaps at a time: YES

Details of swap:

• Following the rules of the game, Green Glass Door*, each participant will make three (3) ATCs and send to three other swappers in their group.
• ATCs must be 2.5" by 3.5"
• Any artistic medium can be used, but it shouldn't be too thick, as some like to store them.
• Cards must depict a sentence that is fully correct according to Green Glass Door definition at wikipedia.
• If you need help, please feel free to PM me (sewknitter).
• No Delivery Confirmation is required because the cards are so small
• Do not send to partner, until partner is green. (sending early results in negative feedback, for not following directions.)
• When a person has finished all three cards they PM organizer that they are finished, this turns them green.
• When the swapper you are sending to turns green you can send to that green partner only.
• When you send, your swap partner in the send list turns blue.
• when you receive you become purple in receivers list.

CHALLENGE INFORMATION:

A lot of craftsters wanted to make ATCs for this, but didn't or couldn't swap. Since I'm the organizer, I can do anything I want 

I've added a challenge: make a cute or great ATC following the formula for the Green Glass Door rules. Post it in the gallery when I create it.

Swappers can post both challenges AND the ATC cards they receive in the gallery. So we can start creating challenge cards now, and later create swap cards when we receive partners. Twice the fun.

Beginners can post a few to get their confidence up!

I am organizing this a bit differently.

I've been part of swaps where people have flaked, and it doesn't feel good. It hurts the organizer/s and it hurts the receiver, and everyone feels badly for the receiver.

I discovered this system in the sweat shoppe swap, and it really helps to avoid flaking.

You can only receive when you are ready to send. If you don't send, you can't receive.

Now other problems do arise, but hey! we can deal with that! And we are ready to help, understand, and encourage/inspire.


When a person has finished all three cards they PM organizer (sewknitter) that they are finished, this turns them green.

ONLY when the individual swapper you are sending to (receiver) turns green , you can send to them.

Find your own name.
When you send, the partner you sent to should be BLUE in the list following your name.
When they receive, I cross it off your list.

Your Name: partner 1, partner 2, partner 3

• partner 1 is green ready to receive,
• partner 2 you sent to,
• partner 3 received your card.

When all your cards are sent & received, your list of looks like this:

I want to do this so bad but Im worried anyone who gets mine wont like them cause im so new to this. Were do you find the ATC that are the right size? Do you just cut them out of cardstock?

You can always just use an old deck of playing cards for the base.

not to spoil the secret but to be behind the door it must have two machting letters:   You get it now? It was a pain for me to get at first too. I think im gonna do this swap.
