i want to make something for my dad, but i have no idea what! it seems he has everything he needs/wants! here are some of his hobbies/things he likes...

-american history
-frank sinatra
-'60's soul and motown

I might buy a book he would like at a used bookstore - maybe one of those old west mystery novels or something like that and make a bookmark for him with like, his favorite presidents or something on it. You could also try making a pillow for him with a western type fringe or cool fabric with cowboy boots on it....

Forage around thrift stores for something (book, vhs, cd) related to his interests, and use it as a cover for a homemade notebook?
