Hi everyone! Here are the pictures of the jewelry I received from piratecore, minus one necklace that i'm guessing is at a friends house because I was wearing it yesterday and now I can't find it. Sorry about so many pictures!

"Sophistication" earrings (which go with the aforementioned necklace.. I love this pairing!)


Band/record company stickers (a very awesome bonus :])


2 Bracelets.. I especially love the red one. I have a thing for big/chunky jewelry!


And now, two earring/necklace combos (excuse the looks.. i'm half asleep, haha):

I went to the post office today and, boy, did I hit the jackpot!

First up is a package from millik.  Check out this fabulous scarf that she sent me!!  It's so warm and comfy, and I love the colors.



She also stuck this Japanese fortune telling fish in the package.  It's head and tail moved, which is supposed to mean that I am in love.  And while I am in love with my husband, I think that at that exact moment I was in love with the scarf Wink.



I also had a great package from yellowblanket filled with knit goodies:



It's a scarf and two calorimetries (she had to tell me what they were in the note.  I'm a science geek and immediately thought of calorimeters.  I can actually make one of those.  Sad, I know).  I love the waves in the knitting and calorimetries are great for going out in the cold.  I'm going to wear one this afternoon when I go one a walk with my dog and my little boy.  I can't wait!

What nice knitted goodies you got!!!  Isn't it fab when others make you stuff even if you could make it yourself? (cos you never make stuff for yourself...)

I love the calorios (hee hee) I am wearing one in my avatar...and yes, your scientific mind is correct--it is named for keeping heat from escaping from the top of your head!!...now, I have never seen it worn like that, but it is cute!!

I think I was a little confusing in my original post.  I didn't mean that I could make the calorimetries - I can't knit at all!  I meant that I knew how to make a calorimeter.  That's what makes me such a nerd.

Maybe I should start a calorimeter swap??? Wink
