I made these over Thanksgiving break out of the ugliest sweater ever.

A small one.

A big one!

Hehe.

Those rock!

Are you using a button to hold it together? ((And what for the eyes? Those look like "teddy bear" eyes on my screen.....but then again, my vision *sucks*.))

They are teddy bear eyes.  Those kind that you buy in the craft store and pop on with a grommet thingy.  Smiley  I (oddly enough) had some lying around.

And I was using a saftey pin because I didn't know how to dea with it Smiley A button would work, but I didn't want to see it.

As for a tutorial, the small one was just made from a long regtangular piece, rounded at the top for the head, and narrowed at the bottom for the tail.

The ugly sweater came with an ugly scarf that buttoned to the collar of the sweater.  That is what the small snake is made of, plus the pop on teddy bear eyes, and a little felt tongue.

The big one is essentially the same, except to make it really long out of a sweater, I used the part across that encompases both arms.

If you'd still like a tutorial with better instructions and pictures, let me know. Smiley

Yes! I just had this idea too! My snake/scarf will be crocheted instead of sewn though. I can't wait to get started!
