Hey!

First of all let me say I made these using the soft tree pattern from the littlebirds blog. Well except I shrunk it to 50%! They turned out pretty dang small which is what I wanted Smiley

http://littlebirds.typepad.com/little_birds_handmade/2006/11/soft_tree_patte.html

I used fleece for the actual "tree" part and the bottom is made of felt! Since I just whip stitched around the bottom on the outside instead of getting all fancy I used non fraying fabics... I wanted it to flare out a bit. Like in this picture. http://www.flickr.com/photos/bellabluebell/305749717/ I didn't exactly follow the tute. Before I sewed it up I added some beads to look like ornaments Smiley

Tell me what you think!

Oh my goodness.  I love these!

I think I'll have to make a forest of them as christmas gifts this year.

That looks so neat! Is it difficult?
I am certainly going to try that out!

These would be so cute to stuff with a little rice and essential oils to put in drawers or just to make rooms smell pretty. I am going to make a bunch of different sizes for my bathroom.

I made one out of white felt last night for my mom. I sewed a bunch of handmade glass beads on it too. So pretty and so easy.

Now, I'm off to buy more fabric to make one for everyone this Christmas.
