Hello all!

OkayI want to try something new for Christmas this year.  My boyfriend and I have shared two Christmas holidays, so I was thinking about shaking things up with a gifting scavenger hunt type thing.

I am hoping to find twelve different categories.  Then each of us would find a gift for the other that fits the category.  On Christmas morning the fun would begin as we discover how the other interpreted the categories Smiley

Unfortunately, I seem to have misplaced my creative spark.  Im having quite the time trying to come up with these said categories.  So far Ive only come up with three tentative ideas: finding an ornament that relates to our relationship, to find something you think the other needs, and to find a gift with the others favorite color.

The quest is to come up with categories that are broad enough so that finding a gift wont be too difficult.  I would like to keep this fun, but in the end give gifts that he would really want and enjoy.

Anyone up for this challenge?  Thanks in advance!!

hmmm.... here's a couple ideas:

1. something that reminds you of your favorite day or memory together
2. something that makes you laugh - like related to an inside joke that you share
3. something from your favorite song/movie

what about adding some that are broader and less specific, as in:

something sexy, something funny/something that will make you (him) laugh, something for the house (especially if you don't live together), music, etc....

as i tend to like funny presents, i might even narrow and increase the humor/scandal by saying "something you wouldn't show your mom," or "something regifted." A category that would be fun--especially to see the interpretations--would be "something for the bed," opening it up to both comfy and wonderful bedding (pillows, blankets, yay!) and to the sexing-it-up sort of presents.

Yep, that's all i got, i think. but an excellent idea!

You should include "something handmade".  Smiley
