I must be in lace heaven - I've been churning thru lace projects, tho I now have some emergency ast minute gift knitting to do...

Anyhow, my Shetland Triangle is now done, and it was faster than the Swallowtail!

More photos and details can be found via my blog

Are you kidding me, you finished knitting this gorgeous shawl in 5 days?  I have the book, 'Wrap Syle' as well, but when I looked at this shawl, I thought it would take far too long.  Thanks, you've made me reconsider.

LOL, no, not kidding - I've finally grown my "lace" wings and can actually knit certain lace projects while watching TV.  I found the pattern on this one easy and intuitive to memorize and it seemed to magically churn itself right off the needles Smiley

It's beautiful!
I think after I finish the flower basket shawl in a sage green, I'm going to have to knit one in bright red- I love the contrast of a traditional project with bright, bold colors...

Unfortunately, I can't churn them out like you can. Or maybe it's fortunate... because I'd be spending a grand or two on yarn!

I visited your blog, and was amazed to see that everything you knit up was just as professional as this shawl. I bow down to you, oh knitting goddess!!  Wink

My first thought was "this can't be the person who just posted a Swallowtail Shawl like a week ago.... " until I realized that it, in fact, is.

This one is equally gorgeous. Wow. Smiley
