Uhhh... Hi. Embarrassed

This is the first time I've shown something in clothing. Embarrassed  I did this reconstruction a long while back and haven't written because I:
1. Am shy.
2. Only had bad mirror shots. Now have a bad 'straight on' shot.  Roll Eyes
3. Am lame when it comes to sewing 'cause I have to to it by hand. My machine is gone.  Cry I am not creative like so many of you are.

So,  Roll Eyes  Roll Eyes I have jeans that fit in the hips but too big in the waist. They were free. OK, I'll practice on them. I did a simple conversion. I do this with old jeans for summer since I don't often wear shorts. But this one is a little different. Since they were bigger, I made the bottom pleated. What the hey... if it looks sad, I have scrap denim.

 Roll Eyes

Enough babble and on to the tough part for me, showing a picture. Embarrassed

I also made the bag out of a jean leg. I folded the waist-band under. I may cut it off to let fray on the top. I don't know...

The back pockets are ripped away. The front pockets are cut out and stitched closed. I 'borrowed'  Wink the sock idea from violentjayne who many times wears high socks with her creations.

I hope I can fit in with such a simple lame offering.

I'm feeling bolder. I may actually hit the send button this time. Ooopssss. I did it. Shocked Don't laugh to loud.

Edited: Fixed something that made me look stupid... Embarrassed

It's cute! I made one similiar to it in the summer, but I didn't cut my fabric long enogh for the pleats and ended up with a 4 inch pleat and my skirt measured about 9 inches in length. OPPS!!! LoL... I have super long legs( 34" inseam). Since it's so short I just wear it to the pool and beach over my swimsuit

OMG!!!! A nine inch skirt! yep, ooops...But you know, I bet that's really cute with your swimsuit! My pleats are around 6 inches or so and the skirt is somewhere around 15-16, (I think, with the waist-band included)....

It says it's my first time writing in clothing. Stupid me. I've written here hundreds of times, just first time showing something. I really should edit that before everyone thinks I'm really totally lame!

Thank you everybody so far. I have more pictures of the bag in the reconstructed bags area. "Jean Leg Bag: Dorkey, but Usable" or something like that.

that's awesome! what are the hearts, just fabric? and I think you should cut it off and let the top fray, that would be cute!

Hi. Thank you everyone. Phreeduh, the hearts are actually cut from an old bath towel since I bought new ones. (Never throw anything away, it may be useful someday!)

I'm still undecided about the waist. Frayed would be nice.
