I'll take a better pic and replace this one here. Also, I'm thinking of posting the pattern in my blog next week. Thanks for the compliments!

"rectangle on a 24 ch base
and then fold, sew the sides that gives the cat look "

OOOHHH so it's like a rectangle then just sewn together type of hat.. never seen that done before but it looks great! i thought you added the ears separately  Cheesy good luck on your craft fair! i know these will sell out quickly  Smiley

Was it hard crocheting with 3 strands?

Invention, my dear friends, is 93% perspiration, 6% electricity, 4% evaporation, and 2% butterscotch ripple.

My current craft project: crochet domokun doll.

Do or die, you'll never make me
Because the world will never take my heart
Go and try, you'll never break me
We want it all, we wanna play this part
I won't explain or say I'm sorry
I'm unashamed, I'm gonna show my scar
Give a cheer for all the broken
Listen here, because it's who we are

I have made a few of these from my own pattern, I made a chain long enough to fit around the head then joined, crochet in rnds till tall enough to cover top of head and slip stitch top closed, then add a few stitches were you want the ears and tada you have a cat hat. Mine were made with 1 strand of yarn and an I hook.

I shall come to the rescue for those in need of the pattern:

I stumbled across this pattern years ago, but when I eventually went back to make it the page had disappeared, however the super awesomeness of wayback machine found an archived page of it.  Hurrah for the internets ^_^

-I give up on making TOL pendants.  If anyone would like to have my stone chips, wire and ect.  I would gladly trade it all for some knitting/crochet stuff.

-Currently crafting.....A Weasley blanket.  I'd love some squares made from fellow Craftsters.

I find it hard to crochet something straight so I was thrilled to find a pattern for a hat like this that is crocheted in the round. I used a J hook I think (I tend to make my stitches pretty tight), ch 32-35 then sc back down the length and continue around on the other side of the chain. After the first round I continue with dc or hdc, whatever I feel like that day. It turns into a flat looking hat but when you put it on the ears pop up a bit. For me this makes a toddler size hat.
