I really want to make my younger sis a set of arm warmers, but after looking through every available knitting book at the library (which are all over 10 years old), I haven't found any. Can anyone make my web-searching time a little shorter? It would be greatly appreciated.

Search the forums (completed projects is a good place to start) for gloves, fingerless gloves.  A number of them have been made to cover arms.  You can easily modify the pattern(s). Smiley

Hi! I don't know how good at knitting you are, but sadly for myself, I can't master DPN!

I found a GREAT easy , wonderful looking pattern online that is knit on straight needles... I have made several pairs, and everyone loves them...

that is the link!

Okay, prepare yourself for a really odd observation:

I've never actually SEEN anyone wearing arm warmers. With all the lovely patterns out there, you think I would have seen at least one person!

Allstix, I have a few friends who wear them quite regularly, though to my knowledge only one has knit herself a pair.

Also try Voodoo from Knitty!

If I had some, I would totally wear them in the house! It's chilly sometimes.
