I have completed these cross stitch pictures and wanted to share them with a wider audience.
The first one is the Eileen Bennett Irish Sampler.  I started it too far down and had to leave out the bottom of the pattern.  It was done on 28 count linen with floss

The last picture is from a pattern called the Rose Sampler done on linen with flower thread.  I think I picked the wrong color for one shade of thread.  There should be more shading.  The sampler would be nice to work with other colors on different shades of linen.

Thank you for looking

I love those!! I've been itching to do a sampler lately (my first and only completed one was done in third grade circa... 1989...). My mom got me a Book of Kells kit when she went to Ireland this year which has kind of tided me over, but yours are way prettier. Where do you get the patterns?

Brima-

I bought both of these patterns at Just Cross Stitch, a specialty cross stitch store in Mesa, Arizona.  I'm sure they are out of print right now.  But the Eileen Bennett pattern would be worth a search on e-bay.  The other one is called the Rose Sampler.  If you want more details on either pattern, please e-mail me and I will dig them out.
