My brother's girlfriend made me Hobbit cookies for Christmas. She made a ton of them for her friends, and she even made a Gollum cookie. She really wanted to keep her set of cookies, including the Gollum, but her mom made her eat the cookies. Anywho, here are the four Hobbits, cookie style!

Left to right: Frodo, Sam, Pippin, and Merry.

Her whole family loves the Lord of the Rings, and in fact, not ONE room in her house doesn't have something in it relating to LotR. My brother and I also love LotR, so it's a pretty good match!

oh man, my friends are obsessed with LOTR. I've got to think of something good to make them related to it.... but they wouldnt eat the cookies, and then theyd sit in their room going bad and make them smell or soemthing.

you could make "cookies" out of play-doh or clay and "frost" them with paint. they'd make really cute ornaments i think.

I love those cookies! That's so clever. I like the idea of the ornaments too. What is that product called that looks like clay and you make ornaments out of it? I've never made those before. I think that would make a great gift for my cousin Rosalyn. She LOVES Frodo.

These are very cute.  Could they be made out of salt dough?  Then you could paint and keep them.

Actually, I got them a few days before Christmas, and I still have them. I keep on meaning to shellak them. I just took the picture last night too, so they haven't gone bad yet!

but i want to eat them.

How can you even say that!  Grin just kidding! Sometimes when I'm in a mood, I want to eat them, but I remind myself that they are almost 9 months old, and that might be a little gross. I'm actually going to make a shadow box for them.
