My mom has been making these for a few years and this year I hijacked her idea to give to coworkers and friends. It's so easy and costs about....  25 cents.  I sprayed them with a sealer afterwards and used a hot glue gun to insert a small hook in the top. Easy!

the one on the right with the ribbon is the one my mom made

does the sealer seal in the yummy cinnamon smell, or do they still smell after painting them?

i found that if you don't spray the ends, then it still lets out a bit of the cinnamon smell...or you could aways just skip the gloss, I just like the shinyness

Thanks, it would be disappointing to me if the smell went away, cause I love the smell of cinnamon.  I bet they smell great with a live tree.  Thanks for sharing

Thanks for sharing such a great idea (and thank your mom for us too Smiley  ).  I love non-traditional ornaments like these.
