Pattern: Swallowtail Lace Shawl from Fall '06 Interweave Knits
Yarn: Elsbeth Lavold Silky Wool it's a dark navy blue I don't have the color number. It took just over 2 hanks.
Needles: US 8
Started: October 12th
Finished: December 2nd.

This is my first lace shawl and it took me a while because I only worked on it on Sundays for the most part.  I took a class to get me through this as my first lace shawl was a complete disaster.  Now that I've finished this successfully, I'll be going back to that first shawl.  I will not let Adamas defeat me!

For the nupps, I did a Sl3 P2tog psso instead of the p5tog.  Because I had no interest in slowly driving myself insane.

That is gorgious! I've been meaning to start a lace shawl for the past few months, but have yet to actually sit down and pick a pattern. Now I'm inspired! You did a wonderful job!

Thank you all so much.  I am so very proud of this shawl.  I'm wearing it now at work and all my knitter friends here were out of their offices when I went to show them.  No one else has said anything unless I tell them - "Look!  I made this!"  Muggles.  They just don't get it.

It's amazing! I'm also knitting the Swallowtail shawl, but it's not in proper lace weight yarn, so I doubt it will look as lovely as yours.
