Microscope slide pendants/necklaces - supplies in the UK???

Hello,

I've just bought a soldering kit for making glass pendants, but I'm a little stuck (unusual for me as I don't normally have much trouble finding supplies online). 

I can buy lead free solder locally, but I've only found a few places selling copper tape online (in the UK) and I haven't managed to find anywhere that sells (small) precut glass shapes (like circles and ovals) outside the USA. Also I wondered if anyone who has made microscope slide pendants and could recommend a cheap supplier of microscope slides (in the UK).

I wondered if any of you knew of any online shops or other forums that might help. I googled for stained glass forum, (as in general the supplies I need seem to be sold by stained glass places), but came up a blank.

I've been making microscope pendants too and got my slides from Ebay. It was a supplier called hantshoop, £3.99 for a box of 50 slides and 200 covers (the covers are really, really thin glass but I think if I put two or three together they'll be fine). The slides are easy to cut with a normal hand powered glass cutter from B&Q but I do usually use my Dremel as I'm a lazy mare. As for the copper tape, I haven't used it or found it necessary - the solder is adhereing perfectly well to the glass. Hope some of that is useful.

weve had a go at this
for the copper tape we use slug repellent copper tape from b&q or homebase-somewhere like that! its super cheap.
we got our glass slides from ebay big box from china or something
and we got the solder from maplin

Thanks for the replies, I too managed to get slides cheap on ebay, and live just a few blocks from a maplins! Didn't think to look in B&Q for the slug tape (though now I want some for the slugs too lol)!!!
