I posted the pattern for this bag last week...but I finally made it!

Since I haven't posted to the forums ten times yet, I can't post pictures, but you can see them, and a written pattern, here...

(Note, after measuring the actual fabric, I decided to make the bag 3 inches wider and 2 inches taller -- which means the gusset has to be 7 inches longer. Other than that, everything's pretty much the same).

I hope you like it!

I love it.  The colors are great, and the parrot works perfectly.  Is that a patch or did you embroider it?  Good job!

Thanks! I have an embroidery machine, and I had that pattern (which looks exactly like my pet bird!), so I stitched it on there before I assembled the flap part.

The bag was pretty easy to make -- the thing that took the longest was stitching the bird on there, and making the pocket!

Sweet I love it, I adore parrots I use to foster 2 umbrella cockatoos and my daughter has a female Eclectus. I have always wanted a African Grey, but do not have the time right now to give it the love and interaction it needs to be happy, but when my life is less hectic I am going to adopt one from our local bird sanctuary. You dont happen to have a female eclectus pattern do you, if so would you consider a swap?
