PS Fabrics is closing

The yarn is only 10% off. But everything else is is 25% and the rumor is that they are closing this Wednesday. I warn you it is packed and the line is around the store.  Have fun.

P & S Fabric is located at 355 Broadway between Franklin and Leonard St. which is 3 blocks south of Canal Street.

Directions by Train:
For the N & R trains - get off at Canal Street and follow traffic down Broadway for three blocks to 355 Broadway.
For the 1 & 9 trains - get off at Franklin Street and follow the traffic down Franklin Street for two blocks to Broadway
For the 6 train - get off at Canal Street and go west to Broadway and follow traffic down Broadway for three blocks to 355 Broadway.

P & S Fabric is open six days a week
Mon. - Wed. 9:30am - 6:00pm
Thurs. 9:30am -7:00pm
Fri. 9:00am - Call
(during the winter we close early, during the spring and summer we stay open later)
Sun. 11:00am - 5:00pm

Moving or closing? I hope it's the former--I love that place. They've been saying they'll move for years now but nothing has happened.

I evesdropped during the sale, and it sounded like they were moving-- uptown and to a smaller place. :/

I get so intimidated by the other fabric stores around there, you have to ask for everything.  Gah.

I'd like to thank the previous poster and confirm, they did indeed move right across the street!  The new address is 360 Broadway.  It's a bit smaller, but they still have a good selection of relatively inexpensive yarn from Lion, Bernat, Patons, etc., and now some more natural fibers as well -- I went looking for Patons Canadiana (acrylic) but had to "settle" for Patons Classic Merino instead.
