does anybody know where i can buy blank belt buckles like the one shown here?

these are expensive and i woud like to go into a store and buy them instead of ordering online..i live in canada so canadian stores would be great

Sometimes bead stores such as www.firemountaingem s.com and www.shipwreckbeads. com have blank belt buckles that are reasonably priced. Other than that maybe Michaels or Jo-anne Fabrics.

they have a store in barrie and mississagua. there is lots of good stuff there! i do think they do mail order too.
they do have kind of funny hours though so best to call ahead first. i was just looking in the catalogue and found a rectangular one for $3.44cdn. i know they used to have others that were more oval like you were looking for.

oh oh! now you're in trouble!  Cheesy that store is great if you are looking for a new craft and sucks you in if you are not! check out some of their other stuff too. they have studs, feet for purses, leather scraps, conchos for embellishing....my dad used to manage a store and i don't do much more than make the occasional belt but it's almost as bad as michael's for me.
