If you're talking about my Zorro ATC, 'differences in taste' was referring to whether you liked him as Zorro or as his alter ego. You preferred who you did because of a difference in taste. I hope that's the one you were referring to!

Snaps,
Anne

Well, after staring in awe at all the gorgeous ATCs on here, my fingers got too itchy not to try it myself. (Just what I need, another craft I can tell I'm going to love...!)

This has an origami paper background, topped with beads on wire, ribbon, a flat back acrylic gem thingy and the fan shapes are cut out of some wrapping paper - they're actually shiny paper and the two fans are different shades of blue but the scan isn't the best... I did the edge of the card by dismantling a felt tip pen and getting the spongy thing out of the middle and running the end of that round the edges. Kind of worked, but it wasn't very easy to control - there's a rogue line on one side that isn't supposed to be there...!

For some reason this art/craft (?) form really speaks to me... They're just so pleasing!

I agree with ARoze, that is defiinetly a great start!  Keep it up, it'll get addicting quickly, especially when you have the cards of others in your hands.

Wonderful!  Great job puppina!  I can't quit figure out how you did the edge -- why did you have to dismantle the pen?  There must be something I'm missing.

Thank you everyone! I've suddenly got a head full of ideas I want to play around with - so exciting!

Katxena - my felt tip pens have a cylindrical sponge thing inside them that holds the ink - I guess it's a way of having an ink reservoir that doesn't slosh around... you can get the sponge thing out by popping the end of the pen off. Ummm, here's a crappy pic:

The green pen on the right I've opened up - the pink one is non-dismantled for comparison.

Hope that makes sense!
